CHOPPED SALAD
So a long time ago my mom got this chopper bowl and tool. I made fun of her asking her why she would spend money on a bowl and what looked like a pizza slicer. Well, turns out, I tried it and it is AWESOME. I bought one at bed bath & beyond. It is absolutely fun to use. Beyond that there is a food place in DC called chop’t that charges people an arm and a leg for them to chop a salad for you. Well, I now have my very own chopper and don’t have to pay like $10 for a salad.
Really, you can put any ingredients you want. I wanted something to go with my chicken salad for lunches.
INGREDIENTS
Romaine lettuce
Shredded cheese (feta is great also)
craisins (to go with my chicken salad)
croutons
dressing
DIRECTIONS
Put everything (except croutons and dressing) in the chopping bowl and chop
to make it to go like me, i just put croutons in a bag so they don’t get soggy and dressing in a glad container
